“Everyone is capable of being comfortable with who they are, and we all have the potential to become who we want to be.”

We all face challenges in relationships, parenting, work, mental health, and other areas of life. Unresolved trauma, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders are common and nothing to be ashamed of. You may be ready to grow emotionally or take your life in a new direction, and I believe that together we can find the approach that is right for you or your family.

Before joining Heart & Mind, I served in the mental health field as an Intensive in Home Counselor, Crisis Support Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, and Program Director. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, gaining experience in addiction and group counseling, trauma-informed care, marital and relationship skill-building, and faith-based counseling.

My therapeutic style is direct, pragmatic, and authentic. I generally practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Reality Therapy, and Talk Therapy. I am also familiar with Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and am currently working towards certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), including timeline therapy and hypnosis, to provide alternative forms of emotional and psychological healing. Additionally, I co-host the podcast Regulation Revolution, where we explore topics related to mental health and emotional regulation.

By utilizing an eclectic approach customized to the uniqueness of each individual, couple, family, or circumstance, I have found effective ways to address commonly faced issues.

I am currently working under the supervision of Melissa Horowitz, LPC and Amy Reamer, LMFT
